Catherine Perehudoff Fowler is a Canadian landscape painter inspired by the expanse of the Western prairie, the natural splendor of the wilderness, mountains, and lakes, and the romance of the Atlantic seashore. She is a renowned landscape painter who has exhibited in art galleries, art museums, and art fairs across Canada and internationally in London, England; Voss, Norway; Paris, France; various cities in Italy; and the USA.

Art fairs where her landscape paintings have been or will be exhibited are: Architectural Digest Home Design Show, New York; ART Salzburg Contemporary & Antiques International; ART Innsbruck – International Art Fair; Artifact Gallery at Monaco Yacht Show, World Wide Art LA; Artexpo New York, Art Shopping at the Paris Carousel du Louvre; and Spectrum Miami. Most recently she had a solo exhibition in 2019 at Adelinda Allegretti Studio&Gallery in Gualdo Tadino, Italy. In 2017 she had a solo show at Artifact Gallery in New York City. Her solo exhibition in 2014, was at Art Placement in Saskatoon, her home town. In 2010 she had a solo show at Gallery Gevik in Toronto, and in 2008, a two-person exhibit with Graham Fowler at the Gallery on Cork Street in London, England. Catherine grew up in a home with art and artists, and consequently was already painting at a young age. Her education in the Fine Arts began when she studied Painting and Textile Arts at Voss Folkehogskule in Norway. Afterwards she attended the University of Saskatchewan and graduated with a B.A. in Art History, which solidified her interest in becoming a landscape painter. Workshops she has participated in and which had a major impact on her as a landscape painter include the Triangle Artists’ Workshop in Pine Plains, New York, the Emma Lake Artists’ Workshops in Saskatchewan, and the Symposium of Young Artists in Baie St. Paul, Quebec. Catherine lived in the city of New York for a year and worked for artist Kenneth Noland at his South Salem studio. As a landscape painter, the surrounding scenery of upstate New York and Connecticut influenced her. During this time she developed an interest in the Hudson River school of landscape painters.
